General Manager of "Standardstahl", a developer and general contractor for commercial buildings, offices, shopping centres and hotels.
1987
Establishment of the company "PCG" together with his late wife Brigitte, an interior and textile designer.
1987-2013
Planning of more than 200 hotels, shopping malls and office buildings. Specialisation in hotels. First major contracts were the planning of all Sony branche office buildings throughout Germany and of 12 hotels for the Senator Hotel Company, branded as Holiday Inn and Best Western Hotels.
2001-2013
Beside ongoing works in Germany, projects in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan for local developers. Other countries of hotel projects were Romania, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Switzerland and Austria.
2003/2005
Award "Hotel of the year", “World’s 100 sexiest hotels”  and “World’s 100 top hotel bars” for the Hilton Koeln
2011
Publication of „Hotelbauten – Handbuch und Planungsnungshilfe“, Germany’s first specialist book on hotel construction and building design. Award “Hotel of the Year” for Ramada Pitesti in Romania

Manfred Ronstedt is a member of the IKN Chamber of Engineers of the state of Lower Saxony (Germany), the CRB (Centre suisse d’etudes pour la rationalisation de la construction) of the FCSI  Foodservice  Consultants  Society  International  and  the  DVP  Deutscher  Verband  der Projektmanager  He  works  on  expert  opinions  about  hotel  premises  for  international  hotel companies,  giving  lectures  at  international  conferences  and  symposia  concerning  hotel development and hotel planning. In his quality time he likes to travel to get excitations for any kind of design. He is working on a new specialist book about interior design of hotels.
